They design and deliver services that equip people with the skills, advice, attitude and support they need to move their lives on and to become part of their community.

We are currently looking for an experienced Trainer to complete the day to day delivery within a number of different areas depending on the need of the NACRO centre and the expertise of the post holder. The Ipswich centre delivers Retail, Catering and Health and Social Care courses, as well as Employability, Personal Social Development units and work placements.

This role will be working Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) until the end of June with a possible potential of extension after this period.

Suitable candidates will meet the following criteria:

* Experience of working, with one or more of the following groups of young people and a positive attitude to addressing their needs:

- Young people within education;
- Young people who offend;
- Young people with challenging behaviour;
- Young people with educational difficulties.

* Hold a current DBS
* Teacher training qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or PTLLS, CTLLS)
* A relevant qualification or subject specialism in this area OR relevant time working within a vocational sector and knowledge around the training of this.
* Level 2 or C grade and above in Literacy and Numeracy.

Desirable :

* Previous experience of delivering catering, retail or health and social care qualifications.
* Experience of inter-agency working.
* Previous experience of delivering Employability or Personal social development sessions.
* Previous experience setting up and monitoring work placements.
