A well respected award winning architectural practice, based in the heart of Cambridge. They are a medium sized business with a strong repeat client base, as well and building and growing new business and are adept at winning new projects. They are a practice that operate across a number of sectors including: commercial, residential, Ministry of Defence, and laboratories.
Due to consist project wins, they are seeking an ambitious Architectural Technologist.
Your new role
As the new Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for running jobs, taking projects through to completion from stage 4. You will work as part of a creative and driven team of other Architects and Technologists, to achieve outstanding results of your clients. You will have direct involvement with technical drawing, as well as management, site visits, and liaison with external parties. You will be responsible for innovative and creative projects and working closely with the talented individuals around you to maximise productivity.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have exemplary knowledge of UK building regulations, with a minimum of 4 years continuous UK experience, as an Architectural Technologist. Experience working on commercial, MoD, and residential projects is highly advantageous. It is imperative that you are fluent in AutoCAD, whilst fluency (or good command) of Revit would be ideal. You will have sound technical ability, and be able to produce detailed technical drawings and have a good understanding of the planning application process.
