The role of Data Analyst will see you provide analytical services to a new internal project that will become an integral product for Aiimi as the business continues to develop. There is a need to improve our Enterprise Information Management (EIM) platform so that our employees, partners, suppliers and customers can enjoy a world class EIM experience when they interact with Aiimi. You will be a part of the team developing and road testing the EIM strategy, with Aiimi being the first customer allowing us to improve the new processes as they are developed.

Due to the nature of the work we do, it would be beneficial for candidates to have the ability to complete DV level security clearance. There will also be the need to travel, both UK wide and internationally, on occasion.

Requirements of the role
Working alongside a team of dedicated colleagues, you will be responsible for building a living showcase that all our staff can benefit from, allowing them to fully understand the Aiimi vision and what we can achieve for our customers. The aim of this project is to improve productivity of all Aiimi employees whilst making it easier for outside organisations to be business with us. A passion for how information, both data and content, can be used to drive business value would be ideal for this role.

Throughout this project, you will be involved in the following:
• Business analysis to develop an Aiimi EIM strategy and roadmap
• Technical consulting to implement an EIM platform
• Implementation, building and developing programmes
• In conjunction with the UX team, you will work on user experience and graphic design to design apps and reports that are needed by employees to do their job
• Business analysis, Illustration, Copywriting & Graphic Design to develop training collateral in support of the UX team
• Technical consulting to build apps and reports
• Build policies and procedures by working with the Commercial Director
• Managed services to monitor, manage and continually improve our EIM platform and digital experience
• Project management to oversee the implementation of the project
• Business analysis and project management to implement the EIM strategy at Aiimi, manage change and train the staff
• Software and hardware to build the new EIM platform at Aiimi
Previous experience in implementing, building and developing programmes is ideal for this role, however, on the job training will be given to develop your over-all skill set to ensure that you quickly become an effective member of the internal project team, whilst building your knowledge base and allowing you to develop in your role.

Experience required
We would be keen to see applications with hands on experience in a number of the following areas:
• Relevant experience in implementation, programming, building reports, building applications etc.
• SQL and ideally NoSQL databases
• Proficiency in the collection, preparation (including clean-up of missing and incomplete data) and enrichment of data for transport and ingestion with tools such as Logstash
• Good understanding of data modelling, including relational data
• An appreciation for unstructured data and how this can be modelled and value extracted
• Any skills or an understanding in technologies such a NoSQL databases, big data, MapReduce, and enterprise search will be beneficial to this role
• Microsoft SQL Server (2014 or 2016 an advantage)
• Microsoft PowerBI
• JavaScript/HTML/CSS to build web apps and mobile apps
• Microsoft.NET or Java based development frameworks and languages
Experience with several of the following technologies would be beneficial:
• Microsoft Azure
• Excel
• Bootstrap or equivalent UX frameworks
• Microsoft SSIS or equivalent ETL tools
• Experience of integrating with cloud API’s to fetch data (REST, Web Services, ODATA)

A degree, or equivalent, in a related area such as Computer Science, Statistics, Business or Economics

• Very close attention to detail
• Vested interest in how technology can improve business process
• Customer service work experience would be beneficial to this role
