An award winning, multidisciplinary consultancy firm has a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer. The role involves working with the Building Services Engineering team in the rail and highways sector.

Established for over 50 years this global firm offers a genuine place for career progression and development. The company offers a number of different large scale electrical building services projects across London, often working alongside TfL and London Underground.

Working closely with a large multidisciplinary team the role involves delivering electrical infrastructure and lighting projects across London. You will be working closely with clients to produce detailed project briefs and design reports. As the Principal Electrical Engineer you will hold and organise regular meetings to assess progress and project development. In addition, you will be proactive in your approach to system design, consciously aware of issues such as sustainability and building energy performance.

The Principal Electrical Engineer will be Chartered or working towards Chartership. Considerable experience of Electrical Engineering systems is essential, as well as working within a multidisciplinary team environment. An understanding of wider design influences and appreciation of technical standards and planning policies is also essential.
