An excellent job opportunity has arisen for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a Wintel team on a permanent basis. My client is an established financial services provider with 2000 employees across the world and manages over £300 billion in assets. The organisation is shaping the financial services market with their presence in almost 20 different countries and now is the time to be part of this exciting organisation.

Your new role
Your new role will require you to participate in an on call rota. You will deliver a responsive and robust service along with providing technical expertise within a 2nd & 3rd line support team. Support will be provided to both internal users and external business partners. On a day-to-day basis you will manage incidents, Identify & implement key service improvements to ensure an effective request process whilst communicating efficiently with users.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a good communicator with excellent self-initiative, having a considered approach when facing unknown challenges. You'll need solid practical experience with Hyper-V, Windows Server & Office 365/Azure, together with the ability to learn quickly and be able to build strong relationships within the business. It is essential that you have a good understanding of ITIL processes and Remote Support Tools.
