My International client, with their UK site based in Thame, are looking for a Stock Controller to join their existing warehouse team.

As Stock Controller, you will be responsible for maximising the warehouse facility by ensuring stock levels are correct both physically and electronically, investigating and resolving any stock issues, dealing with claims for any damaged goods in transit and manage obsolete stock issues.

You will also be responsible for inducting and training new staff, development and delivery of departmental budgets, sales forecasts and storage facility requirement forecasts. You will be proactive in recommending improved actions and processes to maximise the warehouse efficiency and usage. Overall, you will ensure that the stock function is providing the highest customer service to both internal and external customers.

Ideally you will have a solid warehouse stock control/inventory management background, including FIFO principles, audit trails and traceability. You will have experience of health and safety procedures, staff training, strong IT skills (SAP usage or other ERP system experience is desirable), proven customer service experience and excellent communication skills.

For the right candidate, the salary on offer is up to 25K per annum, Life Assurance, non-contractual bonus based on company performance, pension, company discount for most high street stores and 22 days holiday rising to 25 days after two full years of service.
