A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Automotive Launch Manager to join an international group investing heavily in new plant and facilities. Can you offer a proven track record of programme/project management within an Automotive Supplier, managing the full brief and product introduction of new programmes to enhance an organisations product portfolio?
Launch / Programme Manager
£50000 to £58000 + car allowance + bonus

You will lead cross functional teams through programme introduction lifecycles - developing the customer focus to ensure a successful launch. The Programme Manager will be directly accountable for ensuring programme and project management adherence to project management practices and deliverables
o Assume responsibility for all aspects of Launch Programme
o Represent the Plant in Programme Events with customer during build and launch phase
o Ensure that products are designed in line with QMS assumptions and metrics
o Ensure that adequate programme team support and resources are available on site from tool delivery through to PSW/ Job 1
o Lead Engineering Change requirements
o Report Weekly progress, opportunities, threats to plant management team

To be successful in this role you will already have several years experience working in as a Launch Manager, NPI Manager or Programme/ Project Manager role and will see this a tremendous opportunity to establish and influence the success of the organization through leading effective new product launches.
Further more your experience will encompass some of the following key metrics;
o Launch Management experience within an Automotive manufacturer.
o Proven ability of leading new product introduction process with an automotive tier 1 manufacturing environment.
oDemonstrate an good understanding of lean manufacturing principles and problem solving techniques
o Knowledge of automotive industry APQP/ PSW/ PPAP process
o Strong communication and customer relationship experience.
o A full driving licence and willingness to travel is essential .
