Contracts Manager (Heating/Mechanical)
Due to continued steady growth and success, my client who is a leading Building Support Services provider are currently recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the delivery of a number of Commercial/Industrial mechanical and heating works throughout Scotland on a full time permanent basis.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will oversee the operational delivery and development of the mechanical division in Scotland.
You will lead the Mechanical engineering function on various contracts for the organisation to deliver multiple contracts at once whilst still ensuring a high quality of onsite installation, commercial success and client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities:·Oversee and manage the operational function of the mechanical division consisting of a large team of supervisors, heating engineers and fitters.·Deliver multiple mechanical and commercial heating works at once whilst still ensuring a high quality of onsite installation, commercial success and client satisfaction.·Carry out site visits to ensure quality of works·Liaison and co-ordination of professionals, sub-contractors, employees and suppliers·Continual liaison with client base over day to day site issues·Ensuring overall Client satisfaction·Ensuring compliance with all aspects of Health & Safety legislation
Essential requirements:·Served recognised apprenticeship (commercial/industrial heating or associated trade)·The ability to demonstrate extensive Mechanical project engineering and management experience whilst displaying a commercial awareness·Be able to demonstrate a developed portfolio of completed mechanical/heating installation from pre-commencement through to completion. ·Possess strong man-management skills to ensure on-site trades and labour staff remains motivated and liaise closely with your on-site supervisory staff.·Able to demonstrate a strong focus on customer care with excellent communication skills.
