Business Analyst - IT software development to £50k
The company, already a market leader in their field, are about to embark on building the next generation of their system and product suite. Rather than building on the current system they are embarking on greenfield product development – building the new system from the ground up. You will be involved from day one and will play a pivotal role in its success. A detailed 2 year road map is in place and there will be major input and influence from the external customer base to ensure it delivers what the industry wants. You'll join three other business analysts working closely with UX, software developers and testersYou’re next role?As a Business Analyst you will be involved in the full range of business analysis: writing high level epics; bringing requirement’s together; putting together and presenting detailed user requirements and stories; lots of customer interaction, particularly with corporate and senior clients; dealing with senior internal and external stakeholders; contributing to team meetings and fortnightly scrum meeting; participating in show and tells; gathering and analysing information from a wide range of users and sourcesYou?You’re personality and approach are both key for this role. You’ll be a real people person with an outgoing, friendly personality who’s nice to be around; a creative and innovative thinker who has the ability to come up with new ideas, explain concepts and influence others. You’ll be great at dealing with senior internal and external stakeholders, gathering information with great communication skills and the ability to challenge and probe in a non-confrontational way. We’re ideally looking for someone with around 5 years Business Analysis experience who’s worked within software development and in agile environments. You’ll understand software development concepts, technology and terminology and have great client facing and senior stakeholder engagement skills.
