Hardware/Firmware Engineer, Wellingborough, £30,000-£45,000

I am working with a globally renowned design and manufacturer of quality audio products who are looking for a Hardware/Firmware engineer to join their strong team of 10 engineers, made up of specialist in embedded systems ranging from FPGA design, analogue/audio engineering, PCB layout, firmware and mechanical design.

We are looking for an intelligent and driven person who is willing to learn and possibly someone with an interest audio products although this isn't essential.

You will be given the opportunity to work on cutting-edge products in an exciting industry and join a very well established engineering team that will help you grow and progress yourself.

You will need skills in any of the areas below:

Key Skills
-FPGA design (Using Altera)
-Verilog/VHDL
-Embedded C programming on Microcontrollers (Atmel)
-Electronic Hardware design

Skills you will learn if you haven't already got:
-Audio DSP programming
-HTML5, Javascript, Webpage design (Embedded environment)
-PCB design (CADSTAR)
-SQL database and C++ Programming for Windows
-Network protocols - Analogue over IP
