  • The Opportunity

    Working as part of a busy accounts department, you will work with the other credit controllers to chase debt by telephone, email and letter as required. Another key part of the role is to set up clients on the CRM system and SAGE and other finance admin activities

    The Role

    Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will work with the 2 credit controllers. This is an all-round administrative finance and credit control role which includes setting up client records on Sage 50, raising sales invoices weekly, dealing with client invoice queries, matching cash against the ledger and raising any credit notes required. You will also be responsible for the provision of all documentation relating to the insurance for the clients and will maintain all records of this on the CRM system. Other duties include debt recovery, credit control, Letter Before Action and Court Claim preparation and drafting, processing direct debit and credit card payments, accounts assistance and administration.

    This is a busy department where the volume of work is high

    Candidate requirements

    Excellent numerical and IT skills including Excel, Sage 50 and preferably CSV file experience

    Qualified either by examination or experience to AAT level

    Ability to interact with personnel at all levels

    Extremely well organised in order to manage large volumes of work

    Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative

    Ability to work in a busy and pressurised environment

    Previous experience in a debt recovery/credit control role is essential
