Payroll CoordinatorWorking within an accountancy practice, our client is seeking a payroller to join their busy team. Based at the Andover and/or Southampton office, the position will involve end to end processing of the clients' payrolls to include calculations and reporting. You will be the point of contact for clients and will work closely with them to provide an outstanding service.The successful applicant for this role will gain exposure to the following key tasks and duties:Assisting with the preparation of selected client payrollsCalculating and administering holiday pay entitlementsApplying PAYE regulations and calculating SMP, SSP and SPPAdministering pension deductionsCalculating manual payments and repaymentsAssisting in the production of payslips and P45sAssisting with any ad-hoc queriesKey experience and skills:-- You must have previous payroll processing experience of ideally a minimum of 1-2 years- Experience of payroll co-ordination within an accountancy firm or a payroll bureau would be a distinct advantage- All applicants must have excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to work effectively within a teamThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to work for an exciting, growing firm and to further develop their payroll skills and knowledge.Salary - c25-28kBased Andover and/or SouthamptonThis is a full time position, however, flexible working hours are possible, as is potentially part-time hoursFree parkingPersonal development and career opportunities
