Service Engineer (Industrial Gas Piping)

Glasgow and Edinburgh patch. (Covering Scotland and Upper Northern England)

£20,000 - £35,000 Salaried per annum based on experience.

Pension + Mobile Phone + Vehicle for all business travel. Monday to Friday daytime role, no callout or weekend work.

Service Engineer required from a Gas or Water service engineering background with an SHEA passport. You will have the opportunity to work for a vibrant and growing company who will put you on an intensive training programme.

The role will be suited to mechanically biased service engineers happy to take on structured in-house training on a large range of specialist equipment. You will need to come from an industrial gas background. Those from domestic backgrounds won't be considered.

The role will involve field based installation and ongoing service provision on specialist gas pipeline management and maintenance equipment.

You will be based from home with an equipped company van covering North of England and most areas of Scotland so those based in the Central Belt will be best placed to cover the region although all candidates within the area covered willing to travel and stay away on occasion as required will be progressed.

The company are a large multi-disciplined manufacturer of high tech solutions to many industries, this role will be focused on a particularly strong arm of the manufacturing business in gas pipeline industry machinery for maintaining underground gas pipeline distribution networks.

The Person Required:

* Experienced service engineer from a gas or water service engineering background
* College leaver with mechanical engineering and safety certification seeking trainee level role.
* Hold the SHEA passport
* Live within the upper Northern England area, Northumberland/Cumbria or Southern Scotland/Central Belt/Glasgow/Edinburgh area ideally.
