Engineering Stores Person
We are looking to recruit an experienced individual to join our established team as a Storeman/woman within our engineering organisation. You must have previous experience of working in a stores environment within the engineering sector handling engineered components.
The key responsibilities of the role will include:
·Receiving goods in to stock
·Booking materials out of stock
·Loading and unloading of containers
·To replenish the stores with in-coming parts
·Update stock systems and related spread sheets using Word & Excel
To succeed in this role, we’re looking for:
·Previous experience of working in a stores area
·Must have a current and up to date fork lift licence
·Able to carry out manual work on a daily basis
·Pro-active and self-motivated
·Excellent planning and organisation skills
·A good eye for detail
·Reliable & trustworthy
This is a full time position working for a manufacturing / production company which is involved in a growing UK and international market.
Your hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8am till 5pm Friday 8am till 2pm with a 30min lunch break.
Over time is offered on a regular basis.
You will be entitled to 20 Days day holidays per annum plus bank holidays
Your salary will be agreed depending on your experience.
