Your New Role:

• Support Worker Bank Staff
• Health and Social Care team
• Providing personalised support for a wide range of care packages throughout the Wirral area
• Supported living in our service users own home promoting independence and quality of life
• Flexible hours including days, evenings, some sleep ins and some waking nights
• Varied and rewarding role with plenty of opportunity for personal development
• Reporting to an experienced management team who understands your role and the needs of our service users.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Providing emotional support, advocacy and information of the service users we support including facilities, communities and social and leisure activities if they wish
• Build a strong, trusting relationship with service users to ensure all support needs are exceeded at all times.
• Assist service users meet their personal care needs in an appropriate and sensitive manners
• Help to maintain a safe, comfortable and supportive home for the service users we support, assisting in devising and reviewing care plans based on personal, hands on experience.
• Participate in regular supervisions to receive support, increased knowledge, identify training needs and opportunities for personal development included but not limited to gaining nationally recognised diplomas
• Follow and Promote all JustOne policies and procedures including maintaining confidentiality and promoting the service we offer to others
• Enable all service users to achieve independence as far as possible in all areas of their life by providing consistent, hands on support at all times.
