PART TIME CLIENT MARKETING MANAGER 

Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 Pro-Rata

Location: Henley on Thames

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an award winning marketing & communications business based in Henley on Thames. We are looking for a talented individual to join the team and play a major role in helping us deliver even more great work.

We're not hung up on job titles, but while most agencies recruit "Account Managers and Directors", our "Client Marketing Manager" role is exactly what it says on the tin. It involves hands-on marketing management work, building and managing client relationships, as well as the opportunity to develop marketing strategy and brand messaging which can be put into workable plans.

Our clients trust us to deliver so you will need to ooze confidence, credibility and experience as well as be able to demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships and spot new business opportunities.

The work is diverse – we create and manage all kinds of marketing programmes for a wide range of businesses - so you'll need to be able to look after all aspects of the marketing mix such as strategic brand & messaging development, sales & marketing collateral development, CRM and channel marketing, digital and social media, exhibitions & events - to name just a few.

You’ll also play a big role in helping coach, develop and inspire the team.

The role is part-time based on working a total of 3 days / week. We offer tremendous flexibility on how you manage these days but you will need to embrace and be comfortable with the concept of being ‘always on’ during the working week. (n.b. that doesn’t mean missing school plays to be on a conference call).

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Significant, demonstrable and high quality experience in a marketing management or communications role (client or agency side)
  • Ideally a marketing and / or professional CIM qualification
  • A broad knowledge of the marketing mix and its deployment
  • Experience of managing marketing communication activity to a high standard (including outstanding project and budget management skills)
  • Experience in creating engaging marketing materials
  • Excellent copywriting skills with an eye for detail and the skills to write copy appropriate for the chosen channel and audience. Includes content (i.e. messaging), quality (grammar, spelling, presentation) and proofing skills
  • Experience in using and managing content management systems
  • Experience in originating engaging content and managing the use of this across various social media platforms
  • Be comfortable with technology and able to use a variety of IT systems including email marketing software, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and have an aptitude for learning to use new technologies
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - understanding the importance of both good team communication as well as good client communication
  • Capable of initiating and maintaining strong personal relationships with clients, colleagues and suppliers
  • Be able to quickly learn our services, clients and the layout of their markets
  • Be able to develop and deliver great work without close supervision and be a great team player
Location & Work Environment

Our offices are in Henley on Thames – around an 8 minute walk from the station and there is parking available. Candidates should ideally be located within a 30 minute commute from our offices.

Rewards

The salary is negotiable based on experience and will be pro-rated based on a 3 day per week working arrangement. We also offer a childcare voucher scheme and flexible working hours.

We offer 25 day’s holiday (in addition to bank holidays) which will also be pro-rated.
