Fee Earner - Credit Hire Litigated
Our highly successful client is seeking a professional, motivated and proactive Fee Earner for their Litigated Credit Hire department.
Reporting to the Team Leader, your responsibilities will include creating initial case strategy abiding by Client Guidelines, undertaking discussions and negotiations with Insured, Insurer and Third Party Solicitors to pursue the rapid and appropriate settlement of cases and the apportionment of costs, undertaking Court Telephone Hearings to ensure progress is maximised and all actions have been undertaken to bring the case to settlement, maintaining case management, billing and management information systems, allocation of funds to the appropriate client accounts as per agreed procedures, ensuring files are kept within ISO 9001 guidelines and ensuring compliance with the SRA Code of Conduct 2011.
In addition, you will deal with correspondence and telephone calls, undertake periodic reviews of files in line with client requirements, update records and meet agreed performance targets.
With the ability to make decisions and remain calm under pressure, you will be an excellent communicator with good telephone negotiation skills. You will have an understanding of case law and litigation practice and CPO.
Previous credit hire experience and experience of small claims and fast track matters would be a distinct advantage.
