Calling all creative and caring teachers - are you looking for a lovely school in which to develop your creative teaching style?

The headteacher at this community centred primary school believes in developing and inspiring young learners and offering teachers a chance to use drama, singing, dance and music in their learning processes.

The primary teachers are a cohesive bunch who have a great ethos. Topic based learning and allocated time to plan as a team are all supported by the SLT. All teachers have at least ½ day release with either their Key Stage or parallel teachers in order to plan exciting lessons and feed of each other's creativity.

The school is very happy to boast a school brass band - this band regularly plays at local events and has been invited to festivals and carnivals all over the country. The school is very keen to promote responsibility and trusts pupils to help in the maintenance of the music room. Pupils are given responsibility over certain instruments and learn about how they are made, the history of the instrument and how to play them.

The school has the capacity to welcome trainee teachers who need NQT support and experienced teachers who may be looking for a little extra responsibility. The school has not yet shuffled responsibilities - the leadership team likes to keep things fresh and rotate responsibilities regularly.
