Two Experienced Legal Secretaries Required in Axminster

- Permanent Positions
- Full-time Monday - Friday 9am 5:30pm
- Salary £17-19k DOE
- Axminster based
- Commutable via train from a wide area
- 28 days holiday plus one extra for each full year worked (max of 30 days per annum)

Smart Recruitment are assisting a prestigious local Solicitors in sourcing two Legal Secretaries. We are offering a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-established solicitors office located in Axminster.
The purpose of these roles is to support the Property and Private Client teams' to ensure they can operate at optimum efficiency. Experience within these sectors would be desired, but if you have experience of working within a professional office environment you may be considered.

Responsibilities include

- Prepare correspondences and documents using audio-typing and word processing
- Undertake filling duties which include, daily filing and the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files in accordance to the procedures contained in the Office Manual
- To prepare mail for dispatch
- Diary management
- Prepare and tidy conference rooms as required
- Provide refreshments as requires
- Work as part of the team to support and cover holidays of other secretaries and undertake overtime as required
- Provide guidance and support to junior and temporary secretaries
- To communicate and assist clients in a professional and friendly manner.
- Undertake any specific training as required and to take responsibility for your self-development
- Comply with all terms of the Office Manual and instructions issued by partners and management
- Operate accounts procedures and update record systems and databases in a timely manner
- Keep up to date with all forms and precedents used by the practice
- Provide reception cover as required and undertake any duties as required
