Brightside Insurance is a top 20 insurance broker and are recruiting for a talented Open Gi Support Analyst to join an established and innovative support team.

Job Purpose:

To provide operational and technical support to Group Companies in relation to the OpenGI platform and associated applications / technologies and, to develop, build and maintain application solutions to meet specified business requirements.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provide OpenGi and associated support to all group users via the Brightside IT Helpdesk, ensuring requests are responded to in accordance with agreed service levels, standards and procedures.

- Working with the Incident Support team to ensure system availability, reliability, and maintainability of OpenGI and associated systems throughout core business hours.

- Maintaining quality product and workflow solutions using the application toolsets, in line with documented work specifications.
- Recording, tracking and resolution of support issues referred to external providers.
- Liaising with staff at all levels to ensure allocated projects and system developments meet business needs.
- Involvement with the production and implementation of development projects throughout the product lifecycle.
- Implementing system upgrades to ensure continued stability and compliance, including execution of system test plans and User Acceptance Testing / Release Management.
- Providing integrated systems support such as Reporting Database (links), Print Production (processes) and basic XML (services).
- Performing routine system administration (daily, weekly and Month-End processes), including those required for internal and external interfaces and associated applications.
- To provide back up support to any of the other areas of the IT Support Team as and when required.
- Provision of out of hours support where necessary to ensure business continuity.
- Work with and build relationships with third party suppliers.

Key Skills Required:

- Proven experience and knowledge of OpenGI systems administration.
- Able to maintain and develop solutions using the OpenGI Application Toolsets.
- Ability to understand user issues and isolate requirements through good communication at all levels.
- Excellent problem analysis.
- Self motivated, enthusiastic and proactive with capacity to work under pressure to agreed deadlines in an unpredictable environment.
- Desire to prioritise own workload and operate without close supervision.
- Aspiration to learn quickly and assimilate new technologies, processes and methods.
