Are you a Quality Inspector who has worked in the Aerospace, Automotive or other precision (highly regulated industry) engineering manufacturing facility? If so, my client, a world leader in aerospace equipment and systems on board commercial, regional and business aircraft, as well as helicopters, are interested in speaking with you about a permanent inspection position.

My client is a globally renowned company who specialise in the design and manufacture of aircraft interiors; they are looking for high calibre Quality Inspectors to join their highly skilled team, as the industry continues to grow. Shift details

- Double Day Shift - rotating on a weekly basis - 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm

Package Details:

- Double Day Shift - rotating on a weekly basis - 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm
- £23,000 - £26,000 per annum plus 20% shift premium
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Company pension scheme

- Based in Surrey

THE CANDIDATE

Quality Inspector / Quality Control Inspector / Inspector / Quality Technician x 4

The Quality Inspector will require the following experience:

- Experience as a Quality Inspector, in either the Aerospace or similar industry
- Experience carrying out hand measurements using inspection tools such as vernier's, micrometers and callipers

- Previous experience inspecting components to aerospace standards (AS9100 and EASA)

Desired skills and experience:

- Experience with FARO Arm would be extremely beneficial
- Electrical testing and fault finding experience
- Experience compiling and producing FAIR (First Article Inspection Report)
- Experience in document verification

THE ROLE

Quality Inspector / Quality Control Inspector / Inspector / Quality Technician x 4

In the Quality Inspector / Technician role you will be responsible for driving the companies' quality improvement systems and processes ensuring standards are met and exceeded. You will be key to the continuous improvement of the manufacturing processes through liaising with engineers and supporting quality activities throughout various projects. This role will be hands on inspection on the production line, if you have any FAIRS experience this can be utilised to support the First Article Inspection process. This role is key to their aims and is well suited to an ambitious and driven individual who is keen on quality improvement. Duties and responsibilities will include:

- Inspection of items to specified standards
- Reporting and controlling of non conformances in accordance with operating standards
- Conforming and complying with all current Health & Safety regulations
- Maintaining documentation controls in support of the Inspection processes to which he/she is assigned
- Participate in the continuous improvement process and initiatives
