We are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Skipton, which is close to the border of both North and West Yorkshire, they are a leading advertising company with several publications to their name and are very successful, having been trading for over 50 years. They have recently been awarded "Best Magazine 2016" and are very proud of this achievement in a competitive industry. Our client offers its services both online and in print-form and therefore is able to attract readers and advertisers from different geographical areas.

They are now looking to recruit a driven and ambitious Advertising Sales Executive to join their existing and highly successful team to help them grow their business even further. Our client is a forward thinking business and is open to new ideas and welcomes employees to identify and share new ways to develop the business and gain new opportunities within the industry.

Ideally, you will have Advertising/media industry knowledge, however, this role would also suit candidates with strong Telesales experience who are ambitious, looking for a new challenge and would like to gain a successful career within the Advertising industry.


- Sell semi classified and semi display advertisement space across the company's portfolio to new and existing businesses via telephone
- Build and develop relationships
- Research and approach new clients
- Hitting individual and team targets

Person Specification:

- Someone with drive, determination, enthusiasm and professionalism is essential to fulfil this role
- You will need a track record within a sales environment; media sales experience would be preferred but is not essential
- To succeed in this role, you will be required to possess strong rapport building skills to develop key relationships and be resilient to knock-backs (as with any sales role!)
- We require excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- A methodical and organised approach to work

Additional information:

- Monday to Friday 9:00 am - 5:00pm with one hour for lunch, with one 5:30 pm finish during the week which is organised via a rota system
