Reporting directly to the MD, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a marketing strategy across several product lines for this fast moving, growing business.

You will be responsible for achieving lead generation and ROI targets; reviewing current strategies and performance; and implementing continuous test and improvement programmes in order to develop marketing into a key sales channel.

The role also covers other marketing responsibilities such as online branding and website design, re-branding projects, offline printed materials and so forth.

As Marketing Manager you will have overall responsibility for marketing and will provide key stakeholders with timely, accurate and insightful performance analysis and reporting.

What the job involves

Responsible for driving lead generation via online channels Responsible for developing the marketing database and email campaigns to support the customer journey. Improve conversion, retention and cross-sell rates and demonstrate ROI.Ability to set campaign objectives and test criteria; monitor, measure and report on performance; propose and implement improvements to increase ROI.Write compelling copy across all channels including web, email marketing and off-line.Maintain and update the business website including optimisation of web pages and landing pages.Input into desktop and mobile site design and innovation projects to improve customer experience and conversion.Social media planning and management including LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook, and engaging with relevant bloggers/ thought leaders.Select and manage external agencies as required.What you will need

Degree educated or strong academic background plus relevant experience.Professional marketing qualification desirable.Training in graphic design; AMS; marketing analytics; and email marketing packages desirable.At least 2-3 years extensive marketing experience is essential.Proven track record of similar role and can demonstrate developing marketing strategy for lead generation, improving campaign performance and ROI.Strong copywriting experience for web and email essential.Experience of managing sizeable marketing budgets is highly desirable.Experience of managing and improving natural search through SEO desirable.Confident and competent in instigating, using and engaging in key social media channels desirable – Facebook, Twitter and LinkedInBroad knowledge of marketing covering digital, social and traditional channels is essential.Have a passion for marketing and innovation.Possess commercial acumen and understand business drivers.Ability to work and make decisions independently.Excellent project management and problem solving skills.Sound communication skills and ability to build relationships.Focus on ROI, strong on budgeting and financial planning.Excellent analytical skills and attentionPay and benefits

The salary offered is up to £45,000 per annum and is dependent on how closely the person requirements are met upon joining the business. There is also an excellent benefits package on offer.
