Salary: £18,752 per annum + 20% area weighting

Would you like to work in a lively team, gaining experience of all aspects of communications?

We are looking for a dynamic Communications Assistant to support our marketing, PR, brand and policy staff on a broad range of hands-on activity across our platforms. You'll be helping to raise awareness of our services and activities with our internal and external stakeholders around England and Wales.

Your responsibilities will include:
*daily press cuttings service
*assisting with web content, multimedia content, design and events
*opportunities to take an active role in media work, policy and communications
*media and social media scanning
*general administration
*assisting with schedules and planning

The successful candidate should have:
*the ability to work collaboratively within a team
*great organisational skills and attention to detail
*enthusiasm, a flexible, can-do approach and a willingness to learn
*strong communication skills
*the ability to work in a busy, fast-moving environment
*an understanding of the role of communications, social media, brand and digital
*English and IT GCSE A-C or equivalent as a minimum.

28 days a year annual leave with the ability to accrue 1 day of additional holiday for every year of service up to 5 years plus bank holidays; pro rata for part-time employees
