Victim Support is the national charity that helps people affected by crime. The main purpose of the role is to provide general administrative support to the Victims Services Delivery team. This will include maintaining manual and computerised records, data collection and input, purchasing of stationery and office supplies, typing of letters, minutes and reports and overseeing internal financial systems and records. There will also be regular telephone contact with clients and vulnerable individuals.

Applicants will ideally have a good understanding of confidentiality and safe working practices and maintenance of records in accordance with the Data Protection Act. However training will be provided. In addition you must be able to demonstrate your active commitment to promoting equal opportunities and diversity. It is also essential you can demonstrate that you are able to work without direct supervision, that you can prioritise your work and deal with competing demands in an organised and methodical manner.

This role is for 25 hours per week. Flexibility on working days is available. Please be aware this role requires an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
