IT Service Desk Assistant
Michael Page are recruiting an IT Service Desk Assistant for our client based in Middlesbrough.
The client is based in Middlesbrough looking to recruit an IT Service Desk Assistant.
As an IT Service Desk Assistant your duties will include however not be limited to;
- This role will involve in aspects of Incident Management, via the Service Desk, and working closely with users to enable them to continue working
- Receiving and handling requests for support, as well as providing telephone and remote support to staff at regional offices
- Providing information to enable problem resolution including desktop support, applications support, network support and hardware fault diagnosis
- Responsible for routine maintenance tasks such as backup tests/checks, checking logs and updates
- Support the Service Desk Manager where required
- Hardware/software installations using supplied instructions and tools
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous working knowledge working on an IT Support Desk - essential
- Have excellent Excel skills - essential
- Have excellent communication skills - essential
