The Role:- covers external reporting, business performance reporting, tax, treasury, accounting for corporate services and small companies, enterprise risk management, risk transfer and internal audit. Reporting to the Group Risk Manager you will assist with group internal audits, renewals and development of the Group's insurance and risk transfer programme, ensuring timely planning and reporting is achieved.
Drafting audit committee papers and board papers for Group Risk Manager and Head of Internal Audit, review and analyse the output from internal control reviews and risk certifications
Manage the review of divisional systems and internal controls through the collection and review of monthly Accounting Control Checklists, and assisting with the development of best practice

Analyse, understand and summarise non-financial compliance issues as an input to policy development, risk mitigation and process improvement, participate in ad hoc projects,

The person:- a graduate, Finalist/newly qualified ACA/ACCA with at least 1-3 years internal audit/risk management experience. A commercially strong individual with project accounting, contracting and commercial risk management exposure preferably within a large international plc environment. Strong Excel knowledge understands IT systems, An energetic, self-starter, with a drive for business improvement and keen to make a difference as a vital part of the Group finance team.
