Mechanical Design Engineer (Automotive)


£28,000 - £35,000 + 33 Days Holiday + Pension + Development

On offer is a role with opportunities to develop yourself technically whilst working on the design and manufacture of a wide array of products.

This company specialise in the design and manufacture of products that are supplied across the globe. Due to continued success they are looking to expand their design team and as a result they are looking to recruit a Mechanical design engineer.

In this role you will be involved from concept to completion on projects. Produce detailed drawings for manufacture and BOM's. You will also keep in line with relative standards for health and safety, vehicle road legality, vehicle type approval and risk assessments.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business in a technically challenging and varied role.

The Role:
*Producing detailed designs
*Completing BOM's
* Commercial awareness with regards to quality, costings, legalities

The Person:
*Mechanical Design Engineer
*Automotive body building experience
*A working knowledge of Whole Vehicle Type Approval
