Excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in motorised systems/robotics to join a company that will offer you a varied role which will challenge and develop your technical capabilities.

This is a progressive company who design, develop and manufacture specialist equipment. As part of their expansion plans, they are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their R&D team at their Swansea site.

You will play a central role within the team and take part in the development of designs for both new and existing products. With aims to accelerate the development process, you also will be a key point of liaison between multiple departments, clients and suppliers to ensure both timely delivery of projects and cost effectiveness.

This is a great opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a forward thinking company where you will play a vital role in the growth and development of the site.

The Role:
*Working as part of the R&D team to develop new products
*Building prototypes and performing product testing
*Liaising between the product manager, clients and suppliers

The Person:
*Degree in Mechanical Engineering
*Previously worked with motorised systems/robotics
*Have knowledge of mechanical assembly
*Knowledge of 3D CAD Packages (ideally Solidworks)
