3rd Line Support / Technical Support / Infrastructure /Windows Server/ Office 365 /VMWare / Storage

My client based in South Wales are looking for an experience 3rd Line Support Engineer. The role candidate will be providing 3rd line support to clients remotely and on-site.

This is a varied role which will be split 50/50 between BAU and Project work. You will have the opportunity to work some well-known clients and utilise the latest technologies.

Key Duties

  • Provide 3rd line support through assigned work and escalation from the service desk team.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of projects including build, implementation and configuration.
  • Provide up to date documentation.
  • Investigate and resolve major incidents assigned to you and resolve within the agreed SLA.
  • Provide technical advice and assistance to colleagues where needed.
  • Provide onsite planned work and emergency support to our customers
  • Implement infrastructure upgrades for our customers

Required Competencies

  • Confident and proficient in dealing with 3rd line technical issues and major escalations.
  • Minimum of 3 years proven experience working in a 3rd line position
