This is an exciting opportunity to shape and develop the data protection role across a market leading service provider and lead preparation for GDPR.
NFA Group is a high-quality provider of children’s services across fostering, education and residential care. The group has recently completed a major acquisition and is in the process of recruiting and creating a new combined central team – this is a new role with significant scope to influence policy and processes across the group.
You will provide the specialist knowledge and support to ensure the group’s compliance with the DPA 98, as well as leading our preparation for and developing and implementing our framework and guideline for GDPR. The group employs approximately 2000 employees across many different specialist roles and you will be joining a great team in a business that makes a real difference.
Working as part of the IT team and reporting to the IT Director, you will act as our main point of contact for Data Protection and subject access requests, as well as reviewing our existing policies and procedures and developing new policies to ensure ongoing compliance. In addition, you will undertake specialist audits and deliver training to employees on Data Protection requirements.
