Treasury Credit Risk Analyst

An exciting opportunity has arisen and we are currently looking for a Treasury Credit Risk Analyst to join our Treasury department based in Leeds. The main purpose of the role is to provide analysis in the measurement and management of Wholesale Credit related risk. You will also support and develop credit risk management methodologies and administer wholesale credit risk data and applications. Your main responsibilities will also include, but are not limited to: * To prepare, collate and distribute accurate information in relation to Wholesale Credit exposures, internally to forums and committees as required. Externally to PRA and Rating Agencies. * Support the management of the monthly Credit Forum and Governance process. Including presentation of credit analysis to the Wholesale credit Forum and PRC if required. * To support with the development of CRD compliant reporting mechanisms in order to support and develop business as usual activity and meet any new regulatory requirements. * Monitor Capital markets and news flow to ensure the Group remains continually updated on the latest information regarding Wholesale Credit exposure limits (including general news, bonds spreads, equity prices and credit default swap indices). * You will be part of the team providing first line of defence to support all areas of activity undertaken by the Treasury Credit Risk team including: o Wholesale Counterparty credit risk analysis o Maintain and develop the existing wholesale credit risk processes within the Group to ensure appropriate risk decisions are made o Support the financial sustainability of the Group and operate within agreed risk appetites o To demonstrate subject matter expertise to provide key challenge and oversight within the governance framework and key business areas of the Group.
