Role: Marketing Manager

Location: Rotherham

Salary: up to £50K, DOE

My client is a fast-growing business in the leisure industry.

Duties within the role:

Updating the website with current product details and promotions.
Managing campaign websites and contributing to social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and Pinterest – keeping the information up to date and relevant.
Develop and implement both long and short term marketing campaigns in order to meet company objectives.
Monitor and analyse market trends including new marketing concepts and competitors to allow us to maintain competitive advantage.
Organise public relations events or product exhibitions to ensure company visibility.
Work to tight deadlines to meet Company objectives.
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with external agencies including design agencies.
Other duties as required.

The successful candidate:

Previous experience in a similar role.
Management and implementation of marketing strategies and activities including advertising, PR, events, promotional and on line marketing
Sound, commercial approach and all round marketing skills and knowledge
Finance and budget management
Delivery of strategic and tactical targets
Working in a deadline driven environment
Managing and creating strong working relationships with internal and external customer and communicating effectively at all levels
Excellent leadership, planning and organisational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Organised and methodical with ability to multi-task across several projects
Clear and courteous communicator
Capacity for innovative and creative thinking
Flexible and adaptable to changing demands and new challenges
Ability to work collaboratively in a small team
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Good time management and self-starter
Confidence and social skills to represent the company in external professional contexts
Excellent presentation skills
Effective use of motivational influencing and negotiating techniques
Degree/postgraduate or professional qualification in marketing e.g. CIM (Desirable)
Knowledge of the leisure or hospitality industry (Desirable)
Collecting and using market research/insight (Desirable)
Experience of driving footfall via new media and digital marketing communications (Desirable)
