Key Skills: Project Management (Prince, Waterfall, Agile), Technical understanding - Software Development/ Being able to hold a technical conversation with Developers. Change Management/Relationship Management -Help implement the changes needed to make projects run smoothly. Several areas of the life-cycle have been identified for improvement; Requirements Gathering/Business Analysis is one area, UAT is another. Generally improving communication between teams.

This role will suit someone who is looking for a good challenge and something to get stuck into. There's plenty of projects/requirements to deliver and real opportunity to put your own stamp on processes and delivery. My client has identified a number of areas for improvement and is looking for a strong Technical Project Manager to implement them. It's a mix of PM and Change Management; being able to bring about change in a positive way and win over the remaining stakeholders. Projects are predominately delivered using Waterfall, some Agile in use and they are keen to adopt more.

Approximately 350 requirements per year, with one or two major projects in there too. This is a successful company looking to improve further to meet demand. You will be first PM in so it's a big role, you will need to be confident working on your own. You will be supported fully by the Programme Managerand Directors but you need to be a self sufficient to a certain degree/after bedding in period.

Technologies used to develop include C#, Java and C++, there is also hardware design and development going on. However, hardware skills are beneficial not essential. There will be some travel with role to Germany/Munich, smaller office with Development team of 4, 1 Tester, 3 PM's. Maybe once a month. Also travel to the other UK site (North).

If this sounds like something you would like to take on please apply and we can discuss in more detail. Have a good Easter!
