Advertising Sales Executive

Location: Oxford Circus, London

Salary: £24,000 basic (1st Year £48k OTE, 2nd year £62k OTE uncapped!)

Established in early 2012 and based at Oxford Circus, London, our Client currently publish 16 regional newspapers per month, as well as running a highly trafficked and influential website. They have seen phenomenal growth over the past 3 years and are looking to expand their sales team with a driven, dynamic, and trustworthy individual that thrives in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

On the national team you will contact clients directly to extract briefs and pitch cross platform media campaigns. You will build a network of key contacts through cold calling, emails and face to face meetings. The candidate will also be expected to proactively engage in social meetings and networking.

To give you an insight into the role their latest addition to the team earns £400 commission a month plus basic with their top employee earning £3,500 (commission) plus basic a month.

What we want from you: Experience in B2B sales / new business development to large brands / FTSE 350 organisations.

The successful candidate will also:

- Possess a strong work ethic
- Be confident at calling
- Have a strong results orientation, with the commitment and drive to achieve a new business goal in a demanding and competitive business environment
- Be passionate about closing business, with a "can do" attitude and ability to work independently when needed
- Possess excellent communication skills (listening, questioning, written and verbal)
- Have excellent telephone skills; successful candidates will feel comfortable building rapport, developing business relationships and demonstrating products over the telephone
- High level of business awareness to help build credibility with the prospect, spot potential opportunities within a peer group or industry sector.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills to build a solid and persuasive business case, overcome objections, use solid supporting information where necessary, and ensure sales opportunities are managed to a successful conclusion
