Our client is an award-winning media agency with a focus on data driven media. Based in the heart of London's West End, we are a young dynamic team of driven individuals who take pride in our work. You will be joining an agency with the UK's biggest third party email/insert/direct mail portfolio which includes Mothercare, JD Sports, Cotton Traders and The Entertainer. You will be responsible for managing our relationships with agencies and direct clients as well as targeting new business and helping to deliver new and innovative media propositions across the department. You will also be working closely with the internal planning team to support and help grow business with Medialab's planning clients. Above all, you'll need a genuine passion for the opportunity and a burning desire to succeed.

Key Responsibilities of an Account Manager Include:

* Maximise revenue through existing and new business.
* Liaise with media owners and suppliers, building valuable relationships and sourcing new opportunities for clients.
* Develop knowledge of available media channels, specific opportunities and their nuances.
* Work closely with the Head of Media Sales to consistently achieve and exceed revenue goals.
* Learn, understand and update internal order management software to assist with new business.
* Build a large pipeline of leads, pursue them and close deals.
* Accurate and timely invoicing.
* Attend relevant industry networking events.
* Ensure that our clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service.

Our Ideal Candidate:

* A minimum of 2 years' experience within a media sales environment.
* Adept at juggling multiple projects for our list owners and agencies.
* Understanding of multiple third party marketing channels.
* Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel, a must. Working knowledge of PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office programs.
* Self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit.
* Contacts within the industry.
