My client is looking for an assistant management accountant to join their close knit team for a 12 month fixed term contract. The applicant will provide sole and direct support to the Finance Director.

Client Details

My client have been voted one of the best companies to work for on glass doors! They're based right next to Wimbledon station and are wanting to run interviews at the end of April.


Duties will include all aspects of day to day accounting, including:-

  • Preparing the monthly management account packs
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Sales/Purchase ledgers - processing, posting & payment of invoices
  • Nominal ledger month end closing and reconciliation of all ledgers
  • Credit control
  • Cashbook management
  • Expenses
  • Preparation and posting of journals
  • Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Production of figures/schedules for monthly Management Accounts
  • Assisting with audit and preparation of year end accounts
  • Generating reports as required and research
  • Handling telephone calls and filing of invoices, bank statements


Applicants will have previous accounting experience, with at least 2 year's experience in a similar type role and be part qualified.

  • Proven ability to multi-task whilst meeting tight deadlines/targets
  • Manage a busy workload calmly and efficiently
  • Good use of spreadsheets and computer systems (Sage 50)
  • Excellent written/spoken English and telephone manner
  • Good verbal communicator, assertive if necessary
  • Handle confidential information with discretion
