Established Media Company based in Central London recruiting for a permanent Accounts Receivable Accountant

Your new company

Established over 15 years ago, this innovative Media business has gone from strength to strength and is rapidly growing its market share. Due to movements within the finance team they have a vacancy for a new Accounts Receivable Accountant to join them in their London West End head office.

Your new role
You'll join a team of four in Accounts and report directly into the Finance Manager. You will be solely responsible for the Accounts Receivable function, including: processing sales invoices, debtor management and credit control, debtor reconciliations, preparing monthly revenue accruals, maintaining databases and billing systems, and preparing quarterly EC sales lists. You will also provide support with other aspects of financial accounting and reporting, including assistance at month end and the Accounts Payable function. Within this role you'll be required to work within a team environment but also with a high level of autonomy.

What you'll need to succeed
This is a progressive role which is ideal for a candidate with 18 months+ experience looking to take the next step in their career, with the ultimate goal of studying and moving into a Management Accounting position. You're able to work in a collaborative and inclusive manner with both colleagues, senior members of staff and clients. You've used an accounting system in previous roles and experience with SAP is preferred. You're experience with Excel is strong and your attention to detail is second to none. You're dedicated and hard-working and not afraid of committing to extra hours to ensure deadlines are met. You may have started studying your AAT / ACCA / CIMA and/or be looking to further develop your experience in a stable and growing company.
