MP & L MANAGER
An automotive supplier with manufacturing facilities worldwide, who have grown considerably in the past four years, require a MP&L Manager to be responsible for all aspects of the procurement, material control, production planning, labelling and dispatch processes. The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role in first tier automotive.
Commutable from: Milton Keynes, Bicester, Swindon, Oxford, Banbury, Aylesbury
Salary: £ 60,000 - £ 70,000 p.a. + Pension
Suitable for: Logistics Manager, Materials Manager, Warehouse & Logistics Manager, Warehouse Manager
Reporting in to the General Manager, you will ensure materials and consumables arrive on site within the agreed time frame and quantities. It will be your responsibility to make sure the correct packaging is coordinated from the site and the logistics process meet industry standards and customer requirements. You will understand and control the costs within your team and be responsible for the recruitment, development, coaching, assessment, discipline and ultimately the performance of the team.
Qualified in material, planning and logistics, you will have a background working within the automotive supply chain and have worked in a similar role in the 'fast paced' materials, planning and logistics management arena. You will have previous experience working within a TS16949 environment.
