Restaurant General Manager, Exclusive Mayfair Operation Up To £40,000 + Tips of Up To 10K

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Restaurant General Manager to join a global International operator who have a number of sites throughout London and worldwide. The client is proud of their strong customer relationships and friendly atmosphere with a high focus is on delivering standards and service. They are now looking for a strong Restaurant General Manager who has a similar food background working in a fast paced fresh food quality environment.

Job Description

As a Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • The day to day running of the restaurant
  • Involved in stock control and gross profit margins
  • Managing and inspiring a team
  • Experienced in table service
  • Hosting events
  • Staff recruitment
  • Maintaining brand standards
  • Training and development of staff
  • Working under pressure
  • Be able to think on your feet in order to solve problems

The Ideal candidate will be:

  • An experienced Restaurant Manager or General Manager with at least two/three years working in a fresh food quality dining restaurant
  • Able to develop and implement strategies to minimise wastage along with the Head Chef
  • Good understanding of stock control
  • Need to be flexible in working hours
  • Be able to manage large teams
  • Experience in events
  • Experience working towards targets
  • Focus on attention to detail
  • Dealing with senior Managers and Directors
  • Passionate about quality food and wine
  • Friendly and up beat personality

The ideal candidate will have great organisational skills along with the passion and commitment in driving excellent service to the clientele and a proven track record in the fresh food quality dining restaurant.
