Regulatory Compliance - Manager - Consulting

We are representing a globally respected consultancy in their quest to appoint a Regulatory Consulting Manager.

In summary, you will be part of a highly successful team supporting continued growth and growing the profile in the marketplace. Specific responsibilities will delivering regulatory services to a high standard, dealing with client issues, meeting client deliverables providing direction to the team members coaching and developing more junior staff.

Responsibilities include:

The role will work with Regulatory team in practice development and in the preparation of high-quality client deliverables.

Responsibilities:

* Engaging with current and potential clients and building relationships with them
* Preparing and supporting senior management with the submission of regulatory proposals
* Supporting the wider financial services team
* Member of the financial services management team
* Delivering high quality client projects
* Drafting practical thought leadership articles and publications on topical areas of regulation
* Supporting business development initiatives
* Carrying out other ad hoc support and projects

Qualifications:

* A recognised University degree or equivalent (minimum grade 2.1)
* LCOI or equivalent qualification confers advantage

Experience required:

* 5+ years in consulting with proven expertise/knowledge in one of the following areas: AML, MIFD, AIFMD, Solvency II
* In depth knowledge of the regulatory environment within the financial services sector (banking, insurance or funds)
* Previous project management and business development experience is distinct advantage
* Strong business development acumen
* An ability to work effectively under pressure
* Strong analytical and report-writing skills
* An ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams
* A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
