Primary purpose of the role
Assume responsibility for all aspects of customer requirements, quotes, follow ups, order processing, sales and proving a first class level of customer service. Contribute to the companies continued growth by upselling existing and new products to our customers and prospects.
Key Responsibilities / AccountabilitiesTake ownership and responsibility for customer orders and enquiries to completionProcess and acknowledge orders to agreed deadlinesRecommend company products, negotiate and quote customers in line with their requirementsFollow up all quotations through to orderUpsell to existing customers, maximising profitabilityBuild harmonious relationships with customers and work colleagues Monitor sale trends and take action where requiredTo be fully conversant with all systems used to ensure a consistent approachPursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the roleAdditional duties required to enhance the success and efficiency of the business
Person Profile/ExperienceMinimum 2 years B2B sales experienceClear focus and understanding of high quality Customer ServiceConfident in effectively dealing with internal and external customersExcellent communicatorPlan, prioritise and organise workloadHigh level of attention to detailResults-orientated with a positive, proactive attitudeProfessional mannerAbility to work on own initiative and as part of a teamAbility to work under pressure and to tight deadlinesComputer literate and ability to learn in-house systemsFlexible and ability to work additional hours as and when requiredInquisitive and tenacious manner
Holiday: 20 days
Loyalty service: After 5 years total service you will be entitled to one extra day’s holiday and then a further extra day for each additional year up to a maximum of 5 extra days at 10 year’s service.Parking: On site no chargesPension: Company pension after 12 months service
