Reports to: Sales Director

Primary purpose of the role

Assume responsibility for all aspects of customer requirements, quotes, follow ups, order processing, sales and proving a first class level of customer service. Contribute to the companies continued growth by upselling existing and new products to our customers and prospects.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

  • Take ownership and responsibility for customer orders and enquiries to completion
  • Process and acknowledge orders to agreed deadlines
  • Recommend company products, negotiate and quote customers in line with their requirements
  • Follow up all quotations through to order
  • Upsell to existing customers, maximising profitability
  • Build harmonious relationships with customers and work colleagues
  • Monitor sale trends and take action where required
  • To be fully conversant with all systems used to ensure a consistent approach
  • Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role
  • Additional duties required to enhance the success and efficiency of the business
  • Person Profile/Experience

  • Minimum 2 years B2B sales experience
  • Clear focus and understanding of high quality Customer Service
  • Confident in effectively dealing with internal and external customers
  • Excellent communicator
  • Plan, prioritise and organise workload
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Results-orientated with a positive, proactive attitude
  • Professional manner
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Computer literate and ability to learn in-house systems
  • Flexible and ability to work additional hours as and when required
