Strive Supply Chain are delighted to represent our client, a major distributor of Retail/FMCG with a significant national network, in their search for superb Warehouse Line Managers to be based at their distribution facility in Portbury area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic site and business model, providing real opportunity for the right candidate to develop themselves professionally. The roles will be carried out on short term contract basis, up to 12weeks with real opportunities for the right candidates to go permanent basis, you will therefore ideally be available to start before May. Shifts operate on a rotating basis, early/late, night shift also available, all to include some weekend cover - so some flexibility required as per demands this dynamic business model, please contact Strive for more detail.

Therefore you will already be:

An experienced warehouse section, shift, department or line manager used to managing teams of colleagues in fast paced customer driven environments, able to drive a culture of high performance and continuous improvement across all areas of the businessA natural leader and people motivator with an inspiring and engaging approach, ideally from a ‘day 1, for day 2’ Retail, 3PL, FMCG or similarly scaled and fast paced warehousing backgroundExpert across all areas of warehouse operations, inbound, replenishment, picking, dispatch, loading, quality, H&S.Providing consistently high levels of customer service delivery, monitoring performance and productivity, coaching and developing your team, always within a safe and compliant operating environment. A confident user of IT with familiarity of WMS and associated technology, though it is your leadership and communication skills which will be essential to your application. Dynamic in your approach with strong interpersonal skills, people and performance focused, ensuring optimum site productivity is achieved, always looking for areas to improve and enhance.
