Tthe Temporary Business Systems Project Manager is responsible for the definition, co-ordination, documentation, administration and successful completion of a number of fundamental Business Systems projects.

Client Details

The successful candidate will ensure deliverables are achieved within applicable scope and budget. They will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible.

Projects include:

Deploying Office 365

Deploying a new EPOS system

?Deploying a Business Intranet

Scoping of a Recruitment, Finance and multi-channel Contact Centre systems


Responsible for the definition, documentation and successful completion of business systems projects, directing and counselling project team members, and advising users as necessary on all phases.

Project management by scoping opportunities, setting project plans, ensuring the project is on track, and managing testing and end user training.

Maintain open and effective communication with users and stakeholders with regards to the planning and delivery of individual programmes of work and projects. To achieve project buy in and co-operation and minimise impact of risk to the business.

Define project scope to generate system functional requirements.

Deliver scheduled projects within agreed time scales and budget.

Working to elicit project requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirement sessions, business process descriptions, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.

Identify, initiate and maintain project risk registers for all projects and programmes of work. Develop strategies and measures to mitigate and/or control the risks identified ensuring contingency plans are developed and executed.

Ensure on completion of projects, a full and comprehensive set of project documentation is provided. This is to ensure that client's site documentation asset information database is maintained and up to date.

Produce relevant support documentation in line with client'sbest practice (under the direction of the IT Policy and Compliance Co-ordinator).

Ensure that training documentation and procedures are completed for all projects


Demonstrate experience in managing projects using industry standards and techniques is essential.

Experience in delivering end to end business change and IT projects is essential.

Experience in the implementation of Office 365, EPOS system, recruitment system, intranet and an events booking system would be very highly regarded.

Experience of Tessitura and Artifax is desirable.

Knowledge & Skills

Excellent customer service skills and an eye for detail.

Excellent judgement, leadership and communication skills and a working knowledge of hardware/software/communication technologies.

Must know how to make and use work/flow diagrams.

Good knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office in particular Project & Visio.

Good level of numeracy and written skills.Excellent verbal communication skills.

Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders of varying degrees of technical understanding is essential

Job Offer

This Business Systems Project Manager role is on offer on a 12 months FTC basis with a salary of £25,000 - £28,000 dependant upon experience and skill set
