Fundraising Database Manager
The Fundraising Database Manager is responsible for developing, managing and leading on data strategy for information and processes within the fundraising directorate. The role will provide a practical and strategic interface between fundraising and the IT/IS team and ensure there is robust collaboration with all internal stakeholders across the Charity.
The post-holder will be responsible for providing integrated fundraising and supporter-focused data processes for users across the directorate and other users in the Charity, requiring a detailed knowledge of requirements and structure of the current Progress CRM system.
As the Charity enters the process of replacing their current CRM the post-holder will be involved from the start of the project to map data structures and processes to ensure smooth migration to and implementation of the new system whilst maintaining a high level of service to users.
Skills and experience
-Extensive experience managing large CRM systems, preferably within a fundraising or non-profit environment
-Project management and CRM systems development
-Significant experience of managing staff and leading project teams
-Designing and implementing business processes for capturing and using customer information, and increasing efficiency and effectiveness
-Significant experience of needs assessment and requirements development including creating documentation for both technical and business audiences
-Business use of database technologies, including experience in reports and data analysis
-Applied knowledge of customer relationship management principles
-Application of statutory and industry regulations including sound knowledge of data protection regulations
-Managing external suppliers
-Experience of working collaboratively in a complex, multi-disciplinary organisation
