About the Company: Our client is a well-established company in the Derby area who are looking for a Business Development Executive to join their ever expanding team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Sell exhibition space, sponsorship opportunities, speaking opportunities across all events.
- Sell additional opportunities including direct mail, e-mail shots, online learning sponsorship packages and lead generation schemes.
- Meet all KPI's determined by time on the phone and sales targets.
- Attend competitor events in order to generate new leads.
- Build relationships and develop clients to generate revenue across multiple streams
- Keep up to date records for all accounts under your responsibility, using our in house system Enki.
- Administration of sales, completing booking form requests for the Administration team to raise and chasing outstanding booking forms.
- Meet all deadlines for sales targets.
- Generate new business through researching the market.
- Support colleagues during busy time periods and absences to achieve overall targets.
- To undertake any other tasks or duties as and when required.

About you:

- You will ideally have experience working with in Retail or Call Centre environment.
- You will work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Strong numerical and organisation skills required
- Excellent attention to detail
- You will be confident and versatile with a "can do" attitude
- You will be driven and have the passion to develop your career.

What's in it for you? This is a full time Permanent position. Monday -Friday 9am -5pm - some flexibility required. Salary will be £15-17,000 P/A depending on experience. Plus, uncapped commission, incentives and bonuses (OTE £40,000) Full training with be provided.
