Health & Social Care Assessor x2: The essentials.

* Relevant Assessing Qualification (A1,TAQA, CAVA, ACWE, AVRA, IQAA, A2)
* Teaching qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, CertEd, 7407)
* Competent to assess up to Level 3 in H&SC
* Proficient in delivering Functional Skills; English & Maths
* Sound understanding of E-Portfolio assessment systems
* Knowledge of government funded employment and training programmes
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* An enthusiastic and driven character with the ability to communicate on all levels
* Flexibility


Health & Social Care Assessor x2: Your experience.

* Minimum of 2 years assessing experience
* Ready to hit the ground running with a full caseload of learners
* Proven high pass rate
* Accomplished in completing paperwork in line with SFA guidelines
* Occupational history and competence within the H&SC industry
* Experience in a similar role
* A proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets
* The ability to motivate and encourage people
* An interest in helping people develop
* Accurate report writing and record keeping skills
* Observing and assessing learners in their workplace
* Maintaining records of learners progress


Health & Social Care Assessor x2: The desirables.

* V1 Internal Verifier Qualification
* Ability to deliver Level 5 H&SC qualifications

Health & Social Care Assessor x2: The role.

* This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that is well established, invests in and supports its staff and is committed to the learner journey.
* My client is looking for 2 H&SC Assessors to cover the London region (predominantly South and North East/Essex areas).
* A home based role visiting learners within their workplace delivering full H&SC apprenticeships including delivery of Functional Skills.
* Managing an average caseload of 40 learners.
* Ensuring timely completions and development of relationships with both employers and learners.
* A professional demeanour with excellent communication skills and a passion for developing and inspiring learners.
* Weekly supportive meetings at the Head Office based in London City.
* £28k - £32k p/a (depending upon qualifications and experience)
* Business travel expenses
* Sick Pay (up to 10 days per year)
* 21 days holiday p/a + 8 bank holidays
* Necessary business IT tools; Laptop & Mobile Phone
