Financial Controller (Engineered Materials & Sealing products)
Basic salary £60-65,000 + Benefits including Private Medical Insurance and Contributory Pension scheme

A new vacancy for a Financial Controller with the European division of a leading global US engineering corporate. A key member of the Division Management Team, the Financial Controller will be responsible for the safeguarding of all division assets and ensuring ethical practices and adherence to corporate policy. The role will also involve providing advice and direction on a division-wide basis relating to the company's overall strategy and division objectives. The Financial Controller will report in directly to the division's European General Manager (also based in High Wycombe).

Together with the Division Management team, the Financial Controller will be accountable for the profitable growth of the Division. Although the main focus of this role will be the UK operation, the Financial Controller will also be responsible for a key manufacturing site in Eastern Europe and two smaller sites (one in the Midlands and one in France). An excellent opportunity for a high-flying finance professional with a global engineering firm that believes in promoting and developing staff within the business.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Qualified to degree level or equivalent experience.
- Completion of professional finance qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
- Previous experience leading a finance function in a global Manufacturing organisation is preferred.
- Proven experience in general, cost accounting and internal controls including Sarbanes Oxley.
- Knowledge of Lean accounting tools and techniques and their implementation is desirable.
- Experience of MIS with a high level of PC literacy, particularly Excel, is required.
- Strategic ability and understanding to drive business performance forward.
- Strong numerate, analytical and statistical skills which includes the ability to provide creative and innovative business solutions, as well as accurate and timely data.
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills to include the ability to influence and persuade at all levels both externally and within the organisation; ability to build trust, confidence and establish credibility
- Flexible, open management style with a positive, professional manner and attitude; able to accommodate the changing needs of the business; self-motivated
- Ability to lead, develop and motivate a team.
