Communications Co-ordinator - Osborne Property Services - Reigate

We work closely in partnership with our customers and local communities to solve problems and add value over the long term, which will ultimately make them successful.

We are currently recruiting for a Communications Co-ordinator to support our Property Services business line. The role will be based in Reigate and be responsible for supporting:

- The Communications & Marketing Team
- The Directors
- The Community Investment Team
- The Business Development Team

Working as part of as a small support team, the role will be a mix of writing creative content for our monthly communications and administration support for the above teams. This is key role for promoting the Osborne brand, both internally and externally.

Other key responsibilities will include:

- Preparation, writing and design of our publication Community Matters Magazine
- Managing Social Media output e.g. Twitter/LinkedIn
- Organisation and management of Staff Roadshows and Briefings including booking venues and preparing presentations
- Supporting event management of exhibitions and conferences
- Researching, writing and design of Case Studies
- Ensuring that publications promote a positive image of Osborne including health and safety awareness
- To contribute to moving the business forward and ideas for improvement.
- Accessing value for money and cost versus benefit when purchasing materials/consumables

Key Skills:

- Ability to work flexibly, taking account of priorities.
- Ability to work with people at all levels including clients, community organisations and tenants.
- Willingness to travel to contract offices and to work outside of core hours (including weekends) from time to time.
- Copy writing experience is essential as a large proportion of work is for communication both to internal and external customers.
- Hands on approach with ability and willingness to think creatively.
- Experience of InDesign and Photoshop would be highly desirable.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office products.
- An interest in customer service and community initiatives is essential and a background in social housing may be useful.
- Experience of writing for newsletters would be useful.
