Home Manager - up to £50,000 + bonus - Weymouth

My client is looking to recruit an experienced and compassionate Home Manager (RGN or RMN-qualified) to work at their beautiful elderly nursing home situated on the coast of Weymouth on a permanent, full-time basis.

My client is a well-established, national private healthcare provider which specialises in care of the elderly, mentally infirm and physically disabled in their purpose-built, modern homes. With over 20 homes across the UK, my client operates by keeping the service user experience in mind thereby ensuring it is at the forefront of everything it does. This home is designed to provide care for all stages of dementia nursing, and can do this for up to 50 service users.

You will reporting directly to the Operations Manager, and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the home, upholding clinical duties as well as demonstrating effective management, communicative and organisational capabilities. You will have financial management responsibilities related to budgets and controls, and be responsible for the monitoring, improvement and maintenance of CQC standards, occupancy and the overall reputation/marketing of the home.
The Package

- Salary of up to £50,000 subject to experience

Requirements

- You must be a Registered General Nurse or a Registered Mental Health Nurse in the UK
- You must have an active and unencumbered NMC pin
- You must have at least 5 years Home Management experience in a home of a similar size
- Excellent clinical, managerial and communicative skills are essential and must be evidenced
- Experience with the elderly/EMI/dementia patient group(s) is necessary
- Enhanced DBS disclosure is required for this post
